You might have heard that our thoughts affect our life and we literally paint our life as we think or feel in certain way. However, I would go a step further and share with you how our thoughts and feelings can influence those, who are the most important for us, our children and family.
Can you remember the time when you were worrying about your child last time? Maybe you were in the playground or home and repeatedly warning them not to run so fast or not to climb on that chair telling them that they will fall down and hurt themselves and then, you were not surprised when that actually happened, maybe even said: ” I told you that will happen”…Or you might recall asking them to put the hat or jacket on or otherwise they will catch a cold and also saw that happening soon after. The examples can be countless. You might find them in your personal life ( I can’t do it, it always happens to me ) in relationship ( he always treats me this way) in health ( I am sick , it’s incurable ) or in your career ( I hate my job, I will never earn more money) These are ONLY your statements and they keep you stuck in life and as you worry or complain more, you give it a huge meaning and feeling, that stimulate the law of attraction, which commands our life.
In my case, it was having a picture of my partner bathing my daughter and her having a runny nose the following day and guess what, it used to happen all the time! Until I heard, that what I feel or worry the most I will attract to my life. Then I decided to challenge it and see for myself if it’s true. I chose the example of my daughters bath and became relaxed and had loving thoughts (although it did take some time) and I imagine her being well and playing with me or be somewhere feeling absolutely great the following day. Since I consciously choose the picture of what I would like to see happening in my life I feel so much more in control and relaxed and my relationship with my daughter has blossom and I was able to focus more on my personal life and career.
Now, knowing you have the power to influence your and your children’s life, whenever you start to worry about something ask yourself “What would I like to see happening instead?” See it, FEEL it and it will show up. As with all our learnt behaviour, it does take some time and work on ourselves to change it, but if you choose to focus on what you want and bless those close to you instead of worrying, you are on the way to do it.
I would love to hear your stories about how law of attraction works or not (yet) for you and your family. Get in touch on sklifebalance@gmail.com
Lots of love
